In this Greensboro, NC project, we installed a 2,000 square foot synthetic turf putting green that blends seamlessly into the client’s landscape. But the turf was only one part of the transformation.
This was a full outdoor overhaul, handled from start to finish by Synthetic Turf Concepts (STC). Alongside the putting green, we also designed and constructed a new retaining wall and steps, complete with a dedicated drainage system to ensure long-term structural integrity.
Each putting cup on the green has its own custom drainage system, which prevents washout during heavy rains and ensures smooth play all year. Proper drainage is one of the most overlooked (but critical) elements in a quality install—and it’s something STC never cuts corners on.
The turf used in this project is top-tier, professional-grade synthetic grass that stays vibrant and true under constant use and Carolina weather. It pairs perfectly with the paver patio, delivering a clean, upscale look with none of the usual maintenance or mud issues.
